See Alcobaça and its Monastery, pass by the garden of love and in between eat the local pastry. Head to Alfeizerão and try the unique moist sponge cake in the area. Next door is São Martinho do Porto where you can walk along the promenade or enjoy the beach in its bay. Finally, pass through Serra dos Mangues where you can still see some windmills and a privileged view.

A longer but very productive route. You will pass by Porto de Mós Castle, you can enter, there is an associated cost. Continuing the journey, to the Batalha de Aljubarrota Interpretation Center and why not then stop in Batalha to see the Monastery. We also suggest the Sanctuary of Fátima and then the Castle of Ourém, drink the Ginja it is very good and fresh. We end the trip in Leiria, where we suggest at least the Castle, although Leiria has a lot to see and is also the capital of the District.

8

Lots to see on this route, starting off we go straight to Caldas da Rainha, more specifically to Parque D. Carlos I where you can also see the José Malhoa Museum. Caldas da Rainha is well known for its artists such as Bordalo Pinheiro, it is worth investigating. Next door we have Foz do Arelho beach and we continue on to Óbidos!Imagine a small village inside a wall, yes, you arrived Óbidos. Quite appealing with several events throughout the year, from the Chocolate Festival, to the medieval markets and Christmas Events. Try the Ginja, it's drunk in a chocolate cup.You can go for another walk near the sea, more specifically Baleal, don't miss the opportunity to go to the small island whose road crosses the sand. Finally, Bombarral, Jardim do Buddha Eden, a very pleasant space to visit, has an entrance fee, but it is worth it.

9

Beaches nearby if you want an alternative place.

10

Head to the Mira de Aire Caves and see them, a great place to learn. After seeing the Caves, head to Tomar where culturally you can see places such as Covento de Cristo, the Castle, the church of São João Baptista, ending at Parque do Mouchão.

11

A quite long route, we always suggest that you select the places you would like to visit. This route passes through Coimbra, where you can see a little of the student city, passes through Lousã, with wonderful views, and ends at Aldeias do Xisto. Explore the map carefully to make the most of this trip.

12

Let's take a walk around Portuguese Venice, first passing through the typical houses of Costa Nova, then we head to Aveiro, where we'll see a little of the culture, the Salinas, we can walk along the canals in Moliceiros, and finishing by eating a pastry specialty from the area, the Ovos Moles.

13

A spectacular city, Porto! Lots to see, culturally, emotionally, gastronomically, Lots to say here... There is much more to see than what is stipulated for this trip, but in the end, try the francesinha, a typical dish from the area, try to go to the Bolhão market and try to go to the Port wine cellars.

14

This route is not specifically for going to Rio Maior, but a reference location on the trip. You will see the Rio Maior salt flats, castle, river beach and a little of Santarém.
